These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MeetMeHalfway mobile application ("App") operated by Joshua Church ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use MeetMeHalfway. By creating an account, you confirm that:

MeetMeHalfway uses your device's location to calculate midpoints between friends. By using location features, you acknowledge that:
You retain ownership of content you post on MeetMeHalfway. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use that content within the App to provide our services.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. We do not endorse or verify user-generated content and are not liable for any content posted by users.
MeetMeHalfway uses artificial intelligence to generate trip itineraries, venue suggestions, and date night ideas. You acknowledge that:
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without notice. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms.
Users can report inappropriate content or behavior using the in-app reporting feature. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
Your use of MeetMeHalfway is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully.
The App integrates with third-party services including Google Maps, Firebase, and Anthropic. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
MeetMeHalfway is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or financial loss resulting from visiting venues suggested by the App.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MeetMeHalfway and its developers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the App. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
